The seat is very light, but the base is solid & secure.The LATCH clips go in easily with just a seatbelt. The seat clips easily & securely into the base. The seat is deep and high with well-padded sides to give more protection than many other models on the market.

Some infant carseats are so complex to figure out. This one is very intuitive and easy to use. I like the the directions are printed in the base as to how to install it into the car, very helpful if you forget to bring the manual out. The seat is easy to pop in and out of the base, and is secure when in the base.
